Hala Al Mamari – Bespoke Couture brand based in Oman. Hala has been an industry luminary since 2013 creating avant garde designs for the discerning Omani woman. With a strong digital footprint in Asia and the UAE market the brand forays into New York Fashion Week with its latest collection – Rebirth.

The Rebirth collection is focused towards inclusivity as well – plus size models and plus size ensembles for couture and RTW lines.

The brand focuses on creative sustainable practices and an appreciation of authentic techniques, with an aim to create one of a kind ensemble that emulate luxury and refinement. From using the richness of organza to capturing the sensuality of lace, from intricate embroidery to handcrafted thread work – the brand pays immense attention to detail at every step of the creative process.

With the rapid development of technology, the world is changing and recognizing the countless cultures surrounding it. Inspired by Nature and Phenomenal women, Hala honours the marvelous buildup of a female body, keeping the production techniques authentic implementing hand techniques like hand hemming, tucking and hand embroidery, by combining different techniques Hala tried to create unique pieces. All the pieces have been worked with care and pride of the artisans, as these couture techniques are fading. In its quest to balance modernity with nature and simplicity, Hala combined deep-rooted philosophical ideas and scientific and technological artistry to create functional yet superior garments for woman of all sizes.

The brand has designed the above shown ensemble through 100% sustainable methods, the garment is crafted from recycled plastic bottles, and consumes 70% less energy and 75% less CO2. Also, water usage is 86% less than non-recycled fabric which is a great initiative towards reducing waste. This is an endeavor by the House of Hala Al Mamari to engage consumers into eco- conscious couture and commemorates an era of ethical fashion in the middle east.
