LUCKY ALLURE SHARES WITH US HER BEAUTY SECRETS FOR FLAWLESS RESULTS DURING THIS AUSPICIOUS MONTH.
THIS ONE’S FOR THE LADIES WHO DON’T LIKE WEARING TOO MUCH MAKEUP DURING THE DAY. A ‘NATURAL’ DEWY LOOK WITH MINIMAL PRODUCTS. WITH JUST AN ADDITION OF AN EYELINER, YOU CAN DRAMATISE THIS BASIC LOOK TO SUIT YOUR PERSONAL PREFERENCE AND AMP UP THE ‘OOMPH’ FACTOR.
To start off the magic, it is necessary to make sure the skin is hydrated. People usually make the mistake of skipping this step entirely and you can often see the result of this – at least the expert eye can! Once, you’ve moisturised your skin, prep it with a primer before applying your foundation and concealer. Make sure you use a damp beauty blender to dab the concealer wherever you’re using it. This ensures that your makeup stays put for longer. I personally recommend MAC’s products for the foundation and concealer as this is one of my oldest companions!
Contrary to popular belief, you do not always need to fill the eyebrows completely. For this look, I only needed to correct the natural shape of the eyebrows with Makeup Forever’s Brow Sculpting Palette before brushing the brows upwards using a brow gel.

CONTOUR AND HIGHLIGHTS
My forever favourite, the Makeup Forever Cream Foundation Palette. Using the white shade to create natural highlights on the forehead, chin and under the eyes allowed me to achieve the desired results – especially given her pale complexion. As for the contouring, the dark brown shade was ideal for her skin. I prefer using a small stippling brush to apply the shades on the skin and then smoothen them with a beauty blender to create the perfect contour.
I’m sure you’re thinking why I’ve used another highlighter; MAC’s cream colour base in pearl shade is all about making sure the entire look comes together. It is best to dab your fingers and then apply the product because the beauty blender can soak up the intensity of highlighter at times.
EYE SHADOW, BLUSHER AND LIPS
A new favourite on my radar is the cream based Kryolan Lip Rouge Wheel which is an all-rounder; use it on your lips, cheeks and eyelids and you’re gold! It actually gives a very lush dewy look and I absolutely love it! To finish off this look, I simply used waterproof mascara because of the cream products on the eyelids followed by Makeup Store’s loose powder to set the makeup.
For the second look, I give credit to the ladies who know how to wing it. Using the Kat Von D Tattoo liner, I made the same look more dramatic with a simple winged liner style. To top it off, a drugstore brand that has my vote, NYX’s Honey Dew Makeup on the eyelids, used in moderation, gives the look the oomph that it needs.
