Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025, which runs from April 1-7, will see the Kaenos and the Kaenos Open Date – a new product family from the single-hand watch specialist – presented for the first time by German luxury mechanical watch brand MeisterSinger.

For almost 25 years, MeisterSinger has been inspiring and delighting watch enthusiasts with its unmistakable single-hand timepieces. The brand has gained worldwide recognition for its elegant, classic designs.
With the Kaenos series, MeisterSinger is exploring new territory in the world of single-hand watches. The new product family has a distinctly sportier look and features everything that characterises a true MeisterSinger, yet stands out clearly from the rest of the collection
The high recognition value and the beautifully balanced fine-tuning of all its details once again show why the MeisterSinger brand has already received 36 awards for excellent design from the most prestigious panels of experts. With a diameter of 40mm, it is the perfect size to serve as a discreet companion in any situation.
“At MeisterSinger, we attach great importance to a clear design language,” explained founder, designer, and managing director Manfred Brassler.
“Our watches are said to be unmistakable and easy to identify, even from a distance. I am convinced that, as a concept, singe-hand watches essentially appeal to a wide range of people, regardless of age, gender, culture, or wearing habits.
“In the past, our focus had mainly been on classic, elegantly designed watches. With the Kaenos, we want to make the single-hand watch even more accessible – a watch that proves itself to be a reliable, helpful companion in everyday life while retaining the typical MeisterSinger character and the advantages of a single-hand watch.”

Watches and Wonders
Each year, Watches and Wonders Geneva brings together the leading names in the industry as well as some exquisite and exceptionally fine and innovative brands. This year, MeisterSinger will be among the 60 brands showcasing their latest collections and innovations in Geneva. With its international appeal, Watches and Wonders Geneva is the ideal platform for presenting the Kaenos to a discerning, cosmopolitan audience.
MeisterSinger’s Daily Driver
The Kaenos was developed completely from scratch. The surfaces of the 40mm case are partly polished and partly brushed, giving its body a particularly elegant and lively appearance.
The integrated steel bracelet, which flows seamlessly into the case and also features both polished and brushed surfaces, offers not only stability but also a maximum of wearing comfort. The likewise redesigned, non-slip, easy-to-use crown bears the fermata symbol from the MeisterSinger logo, which denotes the ‘rest’ mark in musical notation. With water resistance of up to 100m, the Kaenos is well protected in any everyday situation.
The dial consists of two superimposed layers, with the numerals and hour markers of the upper layer neatly cut out to reveal a second, luminous layer underneath. The multi-layered structure creates a fascinating three-dimensional effect and, at the same time, provides strong luminosity for good readability in every weather as well as in the dark. The newly designed hour hand is also luminous and reminiscent of the dials of earlier measuring instruments, a typical MeisterSinger trait.

Kaenos and Kaenos Open Date – Spoiled for Choice
The new product family is divided into two lines: the Kaenos, with a large date at 6 o’clock; and the Kaenos Open Date, with an open date disk on which the date can be read below the 12 o’clock position.
Both product lines comprise four dial options. One in deep matt midnight black and three with a fine sunburst finish in light grey, ice blue, or petrol, which create a fascinating play of colours, depending on the incidence of light. The black or brushed silver-grey hand harmonises perfectly with the case.
Powerful Movements
Kaenos with date at the 6 o’clock position
The Kaenos is powered by the Sellita SW400 Swiss automatic movement, which, with its significantly larger diameter, also enables a particularly large date window at the 6 o’clock position.
Kaenos Open Date
The Kaenos Open Date is driven by the Swiss-made Sellita SW200. At midnight, the date switches to the next day at lightning speed.
The movements can be seen performing their precision work through the glass exhibition back. The rotor supplies the watch with a 38-hour power reserve.

The Meaning of the Name
The name ‘Kaenos’ is derived from the Greek word kainos, which means new or fresh, and refers to the Cenozoic era – an epoch of renewal in the Earth’s history.
The name is more than appropriate, considering the Kaenos marks a fresh new start for MeisterSinger and stands for exciting further development.
