To translate the energy of this color story into scent, Valentino called on perfumers Nadège Le Garlantezec and Jacques Huclier. Beginning their olfactory journey in Rome’s golden hour, they created a fruity floral trail born in that distinct coral-orange glow, and traveling through Valentino’s trio of inspirations: Color, Cool, Couture.
To epitomize the moment when the sky first fills with coral light, orange essence awakens the senses in a take-off of bright vivacity. The energy of the kiwi accord lifts juicy orange notes with color and luminosity, a fresh opening to symbolize the playful potential of the world as Rome moves into evening.
Conjuring the blazing heat of the sky’s glow, a concentrated super-infusion of jasmine grandiflorum, originating in India, is blended with the musky and powdery florality of ambrette essence. The floral heart translates all the sensuality and personality the golden hour begins to reveal.
A vibrant and creamy trail of Texan cedarwood essence, its woodiness gradually enveloped in the sweet carnal afterglow of white musks. A powerful and sensual awakening to illustrate the strength of the elements.

To interpret this moment’s color intensity into a fragrance, Valentino turned to perfumers Nicolas Beaulieu and Jean Christophe Hérault. Inspired by the light-dark contrast of the golden hour, the pair have composed an oriental fruity scent story, with a woody trail, again travelling through each of Valentino’s chapters, Color, Cool, Couture.

Born in Provence, the aromatic herb lavandin meets the floral, camphor notes of clary sage, and are together brightened with a punch of Bourbon geranium from Madagascar. This fresh, aromatic heart illustrates the strength of this light.
A smoky amber tobacco sign-off accord leaves an afterglow of unforgettable charm. Patchouli essence from Bali and vetiver from Haiti warm this tobacco absolute with a camphor, woody earthiness. Symbolizing the vivid intensity of the color orange itself, this powerful trail of temptation expresses seduction in its myriad fantasies.
Born in the patterns carved into the stonework of Roman palazzos and originally reserved for leather goods, the stud is today an iconic Maison Valentino code. Glinting on the seams of a bag, the lapel of a shirt collar or the buckle of a sandal, the stud’s punk edginess is a Valentino signature.
The emblematic stud gives its form to the curves and lines of both the Donna and Uomo bottles, revisited in the coral light of Rome’s golden hour.
