TO THE MOON AND BACK

Fabergé’s new capsule collection embraces the spirit and symbol of the moon.

Fabergé is introducing the latest additions to its Crescent collection, comprising of a pendant, earrings and a ring. The capsule collection named the Hilal, meaning ‘crescent moon’ in Arabic, is designed to bring beauty and spiritual guidance to its wearer.

The crescent moon and the star, a constant companion, have been regular symbols of faith across religions and cultures. The pair is also familiar when it comes to jewellery. The crescent moon, in particular, remains a prominent and vital image in Islam, which runs on the lunar calendar and uses the moon as a guide to religious practices.

This is what the capsule collection is inspired by. Hand-crafted from 18-carat yellow gold with Fabergé’s iconic decorative fluting, each crescent moon is complemented by glistening pavé set diamonds and a beautiful star. The star features a Gemfields Zambian emerald, responsibly sourced from the Kagem mine in Zambia.

Gemfields is a world-leading supplier of ethically sourced coloured gemstones. The company believes that gemstone miners should conduct themselves with transparency, legitimacy, and integrity. This endeavour is coupled with a strong belief that coloured gemstones should positively impact the country and community from which they originate.

The romantic aesthetic of the collection is inherent in this special line. Emeralds have always been associated with eternity, the heart and the renewal of love, making them the perfect gemstone for these beautiful pieces. And diamonds are, of course, symbols of timeless elegance. A majestic token of love to give to the one you call ‘Ya Amar’. Customers are invited to create their own unique bond with the Hilal Crescent collection, answering the question of what the images represent to them personally.
