This Ramadan, French luxury jewellery company Van Cleef & Arpels pays tribute to its enduring legacy and the spirit of the season with a celebration of the iconic Alhambra collection.
Since its creation in 1968, the Alhambra motif has symbolised harmony and luck, brought to life through the Maison’s craftsmanship and expertise in gemstones. This year, the collection is enriched with the addition of a 20-motif Vintage Alhambra necklace in blue agate, a Middle Eastern exclusive of timeless elegance. Its radiant blue agate and warm yellow gold come together in a striking design, reflecting Van Cleef & Arpels’ mastery in combining materials as well as its commitment to excellence in craftsmanship.
As part of this celebration, Van Cleef & Arpels has partnered with the Franco-Turkish animation directing duo, Burcu and Geoffrey, to create a dedicated campaign. Combining Burcu’s passion for illustration and Geoffrey’s expertise in 3D animation, the duo has crafted a series of poetic visuals inspired by the celestial beauty of Ramadan. They intertwine natural elements with the Alhambra motif, creating a dreamlike landscape that complements the collection’s refined aesthetic.
The 360-degree campaign also highlights the Vintage Alhambra reversible ring in blue agate, introduced in 2024. This innovative creation features a double-sided design, combining guilloché yellow gold and a central diamond with luminous blue agate. The intricate details of the piece exemplify the Maison’s dedication to innovation and artistry.
