Mastering Colour

Givenchy is expanding its commitment to add extra radiance to your skin with its new Prisme Libre Blush. Glow-up, girl!

A new make-up product will always put a smile on a beauty queen’s face, and Givenchy is doing that by adding a new item to the Prisme Libre line. Conceived in 2006 by Nicolas Degennes, Givenchy’s Make-up and Colour Artistic Director, it started with a loose powder that has proven itself to be an ultimate light source. The powder was then followed by Prisme Libre Skin-Caring Glow, a hybrid foundation containing 97% ingredients of natural origin with a formula that includes a 90% skincare base to act on the skin’s radiance and hydration.

Now, the Prisme Libre family is growing with its first four-colour loose powder blush – the Prisme Libre Blush. The new product promises to release colour, boost your glow, sculpt your face and naturally enhance your cheeks with utter lightness. The concept of this blush revolves around the fact that each palette brings four different complementary shades that blend perfectly, creating a new dimension to your make-up. Lasting up to 12 hours, the Prisme Libre Blush comes in six different ranges and their names are a nod to the brand’s couture DNA referencing the finest materials used in the fashion label. Mousseline Lilas and Taffetas Rosé are the best matches for very fair skin types. Voile Corail and Organza Sienne are designed for light to medium complexions, while Popeline Violine and Flanelle Rubis are flattering on medium to dark skin types.

For the best application of this 3D-effect blush, Nicolas Degennes gives us some tips. For a sunny effect, add a stroke of your favourite shade on the bridge of your nose. And if a natural but lively result is what you are looking for, sculpt your features by using the Organza Sienne or Flanelle Rubis palettes (depending on your complexion tone) instead of a bronzer.
