MASTER ORIGINS AGED SUMATRA AND MASTER ORIGINS PAPUA NEW GUINEA

Nespresso is launching two exciting limited edition coffees into the Master Origins range – Master Origins Aged Sumatra, and Master Origins Papua New Guinea.

The Master Origins range comprises of a number of coffee profiles from Colombia, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Nicaragua, Mexico, India, Peru, Costa Rica and Papua New Guinea. Produced by coffee craftsmen across the world, each Master Origins coffee sees local harvesting and processing techniques create distinct aromatics and flavour.

The distinctive aromatics profiles of these coffees are linked to both the countries of origin and the harvesting techniques and processes of local farming communities.

With every Nespresso coffee, our in-house coffee experts, alongside the farmers and agronomists in the field, work closely together to define the exact methods needed to produce a particular blend. For Master Origins, we took this level of attention one step further to select specific processing techniques to yield distinguishable aromatics and tastes.

What are the new limited edition coffees in the Master Origins range?

  • Master Origins Aged Sumatra
    Master Origins Aged Sumatrais made from carefully aged Arabica beans from the Indonesian island of Sumatra. which give it a roasted character with complex woody, spicy notes refined over time.
  • Master Origins Papua New Guinea
    In this coffee, classic Arabica beans from Papua New Guinea’s Western Highlands, deliver a juicy acidity, full of jammy character. The sweet fruit notes are reminiscent of red berries, all elegantly outlined by a velvety body.

  • Master Origins Aged Sumatra –
    For an optimal sensorial experience, we recommend drink Master Origins Aged Sumatra on Original as an espresso (40ml) or a lungo (110ml).

    Coffee lovers can expect a low-medium intensity at value of 5 on the Nespresso intensity scale

The Master Origins Aged Sumatra and Papua New Guinea coffees are both Q Coffee™ certified – what does this mean?

The Q Coffee™ Certification means these single origin coffees demonstrate superior quality from farm to roastery, and this has been verified and issued by a panel of expert graders at the Quality Coffee Institute. At Nespresso, when a single origin coffee secures a Q Coffee™ Certification, they will carry a Grand Cru label, so it is easy for Nespresso lovers to identify them.
