One of AIGNER’s Autumn and Winter 2023 Collection highlights is CYBILL’s new format.
AIGNER is well-known for impeccable handbags. For the Autumn and Winter 2023 Collection, they bring the CYBILL Bag – an icon from the house of AIGNER – in a new shape. The distinctive trapeze form is now available in an elongated horizontal frame in the brand’s seasonal colours: element orange, cayenne orange, stardust rose, black and ink.
Designed in 2012 by Creative Director Christian Alexander Beck, the CYBILL has been part of every collection since then. Inspired by AIGNER’s CEO, Sibylle Schön, the bag represents strong women with a sense of style and elegance with a high demand for quality. Until now, the bag was available only in small and extra-small designs. The new stretch option gives women more space with an edgy appearance.
The bags are handmade in Florence, Italy, made in cowhide leather with a naturally grained surface and exclusively developed metal parts. All the edges are painted by hand in multiple rounds to achieve their unique colour effect.
For the campaign, art photographer Elizaveta Porodina stages the collection’s highlights with different light and colour compositions and an extraordinary sense of aesthetics. Model Vivien Solari poses in monochrome, abstract settings and radiates the power behind the catchy accessories. This magical, almost supernatural aura stands for the title of the collection, The 5th Element.
