Breitling introduces the new Lady Premier collection, reimagining vintage elegance for today’s woman.

Willy Breitling’s words from decades ago still ring true, and they are echoed in the new Lady Premier collection. The line pays tribute to Breitling’s history of women’s watches, from the avant-garde Premier Fantaisies of the 1940s to the Lady-J and Wings Lady of the 1980s. This timepiece is not a simple revival but a reinterpretation that captures the spirit of confidence and elegance for today.
The new Lady Premier expands on the dress-watch sensibility of the original line while introducing details that make it distinct. Cases are more fluid, straps are shaded in ombré alligator leather, and dials are finished with a silk-like shimmer. Pablo Widmer, Head of Product Design at Breitling, describes the style as “modern retro,” a way of revisiting archival designs and reworking them with new curves, textures and tones. The result is a collection that feels refined, feminine and unmistakably contemporary.
The 36mm models are powered by the Breitling Calibre 10, an automatic, COSC-certified self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 42 hours. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, providing reliable precision alongside a smooth sweep of the seconds hand. Crafted in three styles — stainless steel, stainless steel with lab-grown diamonds and 18-carat gold — the cases measure 9.9mm in thickness and are glareproofed on both sides with cambered sapphire crystal. Dial colours include aubergine, sage, dove grey and chocolate, with rhodium or gold-plated hands and hour markers, each paired with a matching gradient alligator strap that fastens with a folding clasp. The watch is water resistant up to 100 metres.
For those who prefer smaller proportions, the 32mm Lady Premier houses the brand’s Calibre 77 SuperQuartz, a thermocompensated quartz movement that is 10 times more accurate than standard quartz. COSC-certified and powered by a battery with a lifespan of three to four years, it delivers precision designed for modern lifestyles. The stainless steel case, available with or without lab-grown diamonds, measures 32mm in diameter and 8.9mm in thickness, with water resistance to 100 metres. Its dials are offered in mother-of-pearl, ink blue and midnight black, featuring satin-soleil and circular brushing finishes that shift subtly under the light.
The new tapered, seven-row Chevron bracelet introduces a V-shaped pattern, offering a feminine interpretation of the line’s traditional link design, while diamonds cascade organically from lug to bezel to enhance the jewellery-like quality of the watch.
