French luxury diamond jewellery brand Messika has announced the opening of a new boutique – its third in Qatar – at the prestigious Galeries Lafayette in Katara.
The Middle East has always been a key region for Messika, with Qatar playing a particularly significant role as one of the first Gulf countries to embrace the Maison. Messika has spent more than 13 years catering to its elite Qatari clientele.
The boutique’s interior, spanning 60 sq/m, reflects Messika’s signature fusion of a contemporary aesthetic with Parisian flair. The new location, featuring Black Marquina marble, onyx countertops, and lavish finishes, offers a high-end shopping experience. Elegant gold accents and open lounge seating add to its inviting atmosphere. For the Maison’s most distinguished clients, a private VIP area provides an exclusive space for jewellery try-ons.
The new retail space showcases an extensive selection of Messika’s iconic fine jewellery collections. In celebration of the opening, exclusive designs created specifically for Qatar will be displayed including the Lucky Move bracelet and pendant, as well as the My Move bracelets.
All three pieces were designed in a unique colour inspired by the bold tones of the Qatari flag. In a striking burgundy shade, the Ceramic stone is featured on the pendants of the Lucky Move bracelet and necklace, while the My Move bracelet showcases a matching burgundy strap. This distinctive hue is exclusive to Qatar and remains available only in this market.
The opening of Messika’s third boutique in Qatar marks a milestone in the Maison’s journey, coinciding with its 20th anniversary. By establishing itself within Galeries Lafayette in Katara, Doha’s premier luxury retail destination, Messika continues to reinforce its reputation as a high jewellery powerhouse.
