A. Lange & Söhne presented a new interpretation of the ODYSSEUS in its proprietary honey gold, limited to 100 pieces at Watches and Wonders 2025.

A.Lange & Söhne’s newest addition to its ODYSSEUS family brings together robust functionality with luxurious design cues. Released at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025, the ODYSSEUS HONEYGOLD stands out for more than just its looks, it’s the first of its kind in the line to feature the brand’s proprietary 750 HONEYGOLD, not only for the case but also for the bracelet. Limited to just 100 pieces, this model features a 40.5mm case paired with a rich brown dial and a five-row, honey-gold bracelet that’s both superior and practical. The bracelet integrates seamlessly with the case and includes a user-friendly adjustment system that can extend its length by up to 7mm with the press of a button, which means no tools or fuss are required. Additional links can be added or removed for a more permanent fit.
The use of HONEYGOLD, a material exclusive to A. Lange & Söhne, gives the watch a unique hue and a hardness greater than other gold alloys. It’s matched by honey-gold baton markers and hands, both treated with a luminous coating to ensure legibility in low light. A splash of red at the 60-minute mark adds just a hint of contrast on the minute track.
True to the collection’s design language, the dial offers a contemporary take on legibility with an outsize date and clearly defined day-of-week display. The brown dial carries a textured groove pattern between the hour markers and around the subsidiary seconds, adding a subtle three-dimensional quality that’s visually engaging without being flashy.

But the watch isn’t just about surface appeal. Inside is the calibre L155.1 DATOMATIC, a self-winding movement engineered for reliability and precision under everyday wear, including active or sporting scenarios. The movement includes a unidirectional rotor with a centrifugal mass in 950 platinum, ensuring efficient energy delivery and a maximum power reserve of 50 hours. This calibre is assembled in two layers and decorated by hand. Visible through the sapphire-crystal caseback, it features plates and bridges made from untreated German silver, blued screws and a single gold chaton. Instead of the brand’s typical balance cock, this model uses a balance bridge engraved with a wave motif alluding to the timepiece’s 12- bar (120 metres) water resistance.
The ODYSSEUS line was first launched in 2019 as a way for the Glashüttebased manufacturer to explore new territory, namely, a watch that felt at home on the wrist during both formal and relaxed moments. This latest version in honey gold continues that trajectory, offering something tactile, durable and thoughtfully designed.
