Garrard celebrates 20 years of Wings with an experiential pop-up boutique at Qatar’s Place Vendôme Mall
Embark on a journey of elegance and heritage up until May 18, as Garrard unveils its exclusive pop-up boutique, marking two decades of the Wings collection at Qatar’s Place Vendome Mall. Situated in the luxury area- Gate 4, themed around the iconic Wings motif and dressed in Royal Blue – the colour of Garrard – while centred around an abstract Wings sculpture, Garrard’s Pop-Up will be unmissable.
Ushering in a new era of Wings, Wings Rising will take centre stage in the celebrations. Introducing a captivating new chapter in the Wings narrative, the debut of Wings Rising jewels marks a significant evolution for this iconic motif, first introduced in 2003. With their clean lines, graphic silhouettes and pioneering techniques, Garrard’s pop-up boutique will capture the indomitable spirit of Wings Rising and showcase an array of highlights from 20 years of Wings.
Visitors will be greeted by interactive screens telling the story of Wings, from its inception two decades ago to its latest incarnation, giving an insight into why Wings has been a consistent success for Garrard throughout the years.
There will, of course, be real jewels to sample – and many of them, from limited-edition Wings Rising creations set with meteorite from out of space to graphic, ultra-modern diamond Mini Icons pieces that are designed to be worn over and over again. And, especially for Garrard’s clientele in Qatar who love to make a colourful statement, there will be a wide range of Wings jewels showcasing an array of coloured stones – a Garrard speciality. From Wings Embrace pieces set with different gemstones to create a dazzling ombré effect to new Wings Rising creations showcasing unexpected stones such as apple malachite and golden mother of pearl, the pop-up Wings boutique presents a compelling reason to visit Place Vendôme this May.
“The Wings collection has been a Garrard icon for 20 years and that is cause for celebration,”
Sara Prentice, Creative Director at Garrard. “Jewellery is one of the most joyful forms of self-expression, and we want the pop-up to encapsulate that sense of excitement and discovery.
