LOUIS VUITTON AND YANNICK ALLÉNO INTRODUCE A CULINARY PARADISE AT HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

INDULGE IN LUXURY AND GASTRONOMY AT THE LOUIS VUITTON LOUNGE BY YANNICK ALLÉNO IN DOHA.

In an exciting collaboration, Louis Vuitton recently joined forces with three-Michelin-starred Chef Yannick Alléno and Qatar Duty Free to unveil the remarkable Louis Vuitton Lounge by Yannick Alléno at Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha. This innovative culinary concept aims to provide a delightful dining and relaxation experience for travellers before they embark on their journeys.

The lounge-restaurant pays homage to Louis Vuitton’s rich heritage in travel, while also showcasing its dedication to exploring the world of culinary arts. Situated above the Louis Vuitton store at the Central Concourse of HIA, this space invites visitors into a contemporary and tropical setting adorned with iconic Louis Vuitton elements, such as stacked trunks, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant Quetzal bird creations by atelier oï.

The lounge exudes sophistication and comfort, with seating arrangements featuring designer pieces from Louis Vuitton’s collection. Guests can enjoy the ambience while sitting at India Mahdavi low tables, Paola Lenti high tables or Costela armchairs by Martin Eisler. Notable additions from Louis Vuitton’s Objets Nomades collection include the Cosmic Table by Raw Edges and Bell Lamps by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby. The maison’s art de la table universe is also on display, with the eye-catching twist glasses by Studio Louis Vuitton.

For the restaurant, Chef Yannick has crafted a ‘multilingual’ culinary concept to cater to a diverse range of visitors throughout the day. The world-renowned chef, whose three Michelin-starred restaurants Alléno Paris at the Pavillon Ledoyen and Le 1947 at Cheval Blanc Courchevel are celebrated for their excellence, has curated a menu that showcases local ingredients, French classics and international dishes, accommodating various palates and dietary preferences.

From breakfast to brunch, guests can indulge in Parisian Viennoiseries and local baked goods, alongside hot sandwiches, eggs, smoked fish platters, caviar and delectable pastries. The menu offers lighter fare options as well as starters and main courses that exemplify Alléno’s innovative cuisine. Guests can savour dishes, such as langoustine carpaccio with geranium essence, confit lamb shoulder flavoured with yuzu and pilaf rice with dried fruit and spices. The items can be enjoyed à la carte or experienced as a multi-course tasting menu, ensuring there is something to please every visitor.

Beyond its culinary offerings, the new lounge represents an extension of the brand’s presence in Doha, where it already boasts five stores across the city. Amidst the airy natural ambience and artistic expressions of flight, the space offers a heightened experience for travellers, whether they seek tranquillity, nourishment or revitalisation during their journey.

Furthermore, the lounge provides Chef Yannick a new platform to share his culinary expertise with a wider audience, both locally and globally. He praises Louis Vuitton as a collaborator of the highest quality, recognising the brand’s modern and precise sense of luxury that shines through in every detail.

The lounge is open round the clock and accessible from the Al Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden at the HIA expansion.
