Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) returns for its 20th edition this month with more than 30,000 local and international visitors expected to attend.

Due to be held over approximately 30,000sq/m at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, the event will run from February 5 to 11 and will feature more than 500 brands from 10 countries. This year sees the participation of the Indian and Turkish pavilions as well as 10 exhibitors under the Qatari Designers Pavilion.

New brands taking part are: Key Gems, AlMajid Home, Renee Jewels, Naylah, Kooheji Jewellery and Hessa Jewels, by Qatari Designer Hessa, who started as part of the Qatari Designers Initiative.

The ‘Big 8’ for this year’s exhibition were recently announced as Al Fardan Jewellery, Al Majed Jewellery & Watches, Ali Bin Ali Luxury, Amiri Gems, Fifty One East, Al Muftah Jewellery, Blue Salon and Bulgari.

Special pieces debuting at DJWE 2024 include Tiffany & Co. 2024 Bird on a Pearl and the bespoke piece ‘High Jewellery’ necklace from Bulgari.

A new range of ‘Qatar Limited Edition’ watches and new jewellery brands from Al Majed Jewellery & Watches and Blue Salon will also be on show.

The event will feature the return of the Qatari Designers Initiative as well as a series of workshops with jewellery and watch experts. And Education Above All, a staple at the DJWE for many instalments, will be back with collaborations with Brazilian jeweller and designer Silvia Furmanovich and Qatari Designers.

The exhibition has been promoted in a stunning campaign film featuring supermodel Irina Shayk and former professional footballer and current sports broadcaster, Thierry Henry, with an incredible original score from the Qatari composer Dana Al Fardan.
