CHAOS THEORY

Italy’s historic family maison Damiani, celebrates womanhood and femininity with the glittering Mimosa collection inspired by the flower of the same name.

The company was founded in Valenza a century ago by Enrico Damiani and has become famed for exclusive pieces that are entirely handmade using the highest quality gems and the finest stones.

This attention to detail and passion for the exquisite are demonstrated in the Mimosa collection which offers rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and watches – each a miniature work of art featuring a mosaic of the purest stones set to resemble the namesake flower imparting a sense of apparent chaos.

The pieces feature varied cuts and shapes arranged side by side, their voids and solids coming together to create meticulous order from the seeming chaos to demonstrate proportion and balance in creations of magnificent lightness and elegance.

The collection illustrates the forward-looking and progressive ethos of the house, whose legacy passed from Enrico Damiani to his son Damiano and then to the third generation, Guido, Silvia and Giorgio, who manage the company today and are responsible for interpreting the brand’s legendary heritage.

Valued around the world for the style, design and all-Italian craftsmanship of its creations, Damiani enthusiasts are in good company with the brand’s pieces having been selected by the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Isabella Rossellini and Sophia Loren.

Winner of 18 Diamonds International Awards, the Oscars of the international jewellery world, Damiani is the only jeweller to have been so extensively honoured. And the company’s success has been cemented with the establishment of many single-brand boutiques in the cultural capitals of the world from Milan and Rome to Tokyo and Seoul, including the Qatar outlet, which launched in October 2019.
